Following more than a 12 months of civil war, Sudan is going through one particular of the world’s worst humanitarian disasters. Thousands of persons have been killed, hundreds of thousands displaced and children are dying of starvation. In the western area of Darfur, an old conflict has been reignited, and there are new warnings about the possibility of genocide in the struggle for the city of el-Fasher.
