Major fighting concerning Congolese military and M23 rebels is fuelling displacement and regional tensions.

M23 rebels have closed in on the funds of North Kivu as combating with authorities forces escalates in northeastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Hundreds of countless numbers of people today are arriving in Goma in the hope of discovering food stuff, water and shelter.

This situation is predicted to worsen when United Nations peacekeepers withdraw from the place at the finish of this year.
